The area in our bathroom where the litterbox will fit is quite small. We actually bought a larger litterbox with higher walls, but it doesn't fit in there next to the toilet. Eve had the brilliat idea of using an old kitchen dish pan instead:
As you can see, Tulip aproves! There's considerably less sweeping going on these days.

My cat lives outside and is the cleanest cat ever when it comes to doing her business. We've never found any feces in the garden. No litterbox to clean, nothing to be found in yard.
We always had outdoor cats when I was a kid. I must say, it was nice not cleaning a litterbox. Unfortunately, Tulip wouldn't last 5 minutes outside. At least the taller box is making things more manageable.
