Tulip is blind. She was born with a condition called anophthalmia, meaning she had no viable eyeballs. Her eyes had to be removed, and her eyelids were sewn shut. This gives her her cute, sleepy appearance.
We adopted her through a shelter-animal advocacy group called FOCAS. This blog is dedicated to Tulip's adventures in her new home, and our adventures as owners of a blind cat.

Sushi Friday
Almost every Friday Eve and I go out for sushi, and last night was no exception. We came home with a little fishy treat for Tulip again. Someone's a spoiled girl!
