Tulip is blind. She was born with a condition called anophthalmia, meaning she had no viable eyeballs. Her eyes had to be removed, and her eyelids were sewn shut. This gives her her cute, sleepy appearance.
We adopted her through a shelter-animal advocacy group called FOCAS. This blog is dedicated to Tulip's adventures in her new home, and our adventures as owners of a blind cat.

Mama Tu
In honor of Mother's Day, here is a picture of Tulip Kitty with her collection of "babies". While I was studying this morning, I happened to look down and see her in bed with the majority of her stuffed toys. Cute!
