Tulip is blind. She was born with a condition called anophthalmia, meaning she had no viable eyeballs. Her eyes had to be removed, and her eyelids were sewn shut. This gives her her cute, sleepy appearance.
We adopted her through a shelter-animal advocacy group called FOCAS. This blog is dedicated to Tulip's adventures in her new home, and our adventures as owners of a blind cat.

Bed wrassler
Here's the little Punkinator wrassling with her kitty bed. This seems to be her new sport these days. She flips the thing over on top of herself and bites and kicks it.
What I love the most about Tulip kitty is how sweet and gentle she is...
