Tulip is blind. She was born with a condition called anophthalmia, meaning she had no viable eyeballs. Her eyes had to be removed, and her eyelids were sewn shut. This gives her her cute, sleepy appearance.
We adopted her through a shelter-animal advocacy group called FOCAS. This blog is dedicated to Tulip's adventures in her new home, and our adventures as owners of a blind cat.

Awwwww!
Tulip must have read that last comment I made about her not sleeping with us. Last night Eve brought her to bed and she slept on my shoulder, sharing my pillow with me. She stayed there all night. Sweeeeeeet.
