Tulip is blind. She was born with a condition called anophthalmia, meaning she had no viable eyeballs. Her eyes had to be removed, and her eyelids were sewn shut. This gives her her cute, sleepy appearance.
We adopted her through a shelter-animal advocacy group called FOCAS. This blog is dedicated to Tulip's adventures in her new home, and our adventures as owners of a blind cat.

Sit video
As I mentioned before, I'm teaching Tulip kitty how to sit on command. Here's a video of her working on her new trick. She's off to a pretty good start.

HAHA... Which is exactly why she'll sit in order to get one.
